Quran, Torah, and Bible similarities.

All religions have holy scriptures that convey the message of their respective deities. The Quran, Torah, and Bible are the three holy books discussed in this context. Christians believe in the Bible, which was also sent to humans by Allah, while Jews believe in the Torah, the oldest book sent to humans by the Almighty. Muslims believe in the pure, undisturbed Quran, which Allah directly sent.

This raises the question: If Allah sent the Bible, why do Muslims not follow or believe it today? The final version of the holy book, the Quran, was sent down, and Muslims began to believe in it. Muslims later believed in the Torah, the first holy book sent by Allah to Moses. Muslims used to believe in the Bible as well, although none of these texts are complete or in their original form. Muslims adhere to the Quran as their final holy text.

What is the book Torah? What all is mentioned in the book Torah?

The Jewish Hebrew Bible is divided into three main sections called the Torah. Twenty-four books characterized the original Hebrew Bible. One learns about the creation of the cosmos by Allah, the existence of the Prophet Adam and Eve, and the disputes between Cain and Abel, their offspring.

The Torah was specifically sent down for Moses. As a result, it includes information concerning Prophet Moses. This deluge occurred during Prophet Noah and the history of prophet Abraham and his sons, prophet Jacob and his sons, and prophet Joseph and his brothers. Later in the Torah, it is mentioned how Israel’s children escaped the captivity of pharaohs with the help of the prophet Moses.

We are now talking about the Quran, like how the Quran is different from the Torah.

In the above context, it tells about Torah, and by that, we came to know about the history of Prophet Moses and his contributions to the children and oppressed people of Israel; we also learn about the conflicts between siblings and the creation of the cosmos.

While the Holy Quran, on the other hand, is one book with 114 chapters. All the words in the Quran are the verbatim words of Allah. The Quran enlightens us not only about Prophets but also about the keys to a strong Imaan. Muslims must adhere to all the teachings of the Qur’an, which highlights the virtues of Islam. If one reads the holy Quran along with its meaning, they would surely bring in the path of Imaan. The power of the Quran is unprecedented and majestic. One of the major fundamental beliefs is that every Muslim should believe in the scriptures ( Quran) and the prophets.

What is the Bible generally?

The Bible is a holy text revered by many religions, including Christianity, Judaism, Samaritanism, and others. The Bible is an anthology, which means it was initially written in Hebrew, Aramaic, and Koine Greek and is a complete work in many different formats.

Old testament.

There are 66 books in all, including the ancient and new testaments. The creation of the world and the history of the Jewish nation are covered in the old testament, which tells the tale of God and his people before the birth of Jesus.

The New Testament.

The New Testament, on the other hand, tells the story of God and his people and starts with the life of Jesus Christ.

How is the Quran different from the Bible?

On the other hand, the Quran was initially made known to the prophet Muhammad(PBUH) by the angel Gabriel. A few years after the passing of the prophet Muhammad, the verses of the Quran were collected into a written text divided into 114 surahs, each of which served as a chapter or section. Readers of the Quran can find a wide variety of different themes in this text. While the Qur’an is regarded as the word of God, the Bible was revealed for the Qur’an. The Torah, the Psalms, and the Gospels are all mentioned in the Qur’an as revelations from Allah. Only the Quran has remained true to itself; the Bible has changed and been corrupted over time.

The Jesus narrative is another significant distinction between the two texts. In particular, the Qur’an does not recognize Jesus’ death and resurrection because of a dispute over whether or not he was crucified. They also have different views on how humankind fell from being perfect.

Comparing the Bible with the Quran.

Many people have referred to the Quran as the closest thing to the incarnation of Allah, the very essence of God, evidence of the integrity of Islam, perfect, miraculous, literary quality, excellent in its beauty, and unmatchable.

Holy Bible Anecdotes about real historical occurrences are included in several of the Bible’s books, often in chronological sequence. Several books contain predictions, many of which have already come true, but many more are still to come true. Certain books read more like compilations of poetry, ballads, and proverbs. Some are a set of rules and guidelines for living a holy life. All serve to convey God’s will.

The Quran, in order to defend itself, fulfill predictions, include mathematical patterns, reveal scientific truths before they are discovered, and remains unchanged.

Only Muhammad is supposed to have received revelations throughout the Quran, which were given to him by the angel Gabriel. No further authors, witnesses, or corroborators exist.

Holy Bible It is customary for Bible books and passages to narrate the same event repeatedly. This increases the credibility of the Bible. The narrative and facts given in the Bible are supported and verified by numerous witnesses. Although Jesus is said to have asserted His divinity, the Bible does not contain any sections he directly composed.

The holy Quran is the greatest book of knowledge and instruction for all humanity and has been the source of enlightenment for generations of Muslims. It is written in the purest and most perfect form. Stick to Deen, build your Imaan to no extent, and you’ll be surely rewarded, Insha Allah.
