He was once punished and ordered by the king to throw him into a wild burning fire but he was a Nabi of Allah and was saved from that evil fire by the order of Allah Subhana Ta’ala.

Prophet Ibrahim got married at the age of 100years and later was blessed with a son named Prophet Ismail A.S but Allah tested Ibrahim A.S and ordered him to separate his son and wife from himself and leave them in the forest. Prophet Ibrahim did the same according to the will of Allah. That was Ibrahim’s huge sacrifice for the sake of Allah. This was the first time Allah had asked Prophet Ibrahim to sacrifice his beloved son.

Later Prophet Ismail was returned to Prophet Ibrahim as a reward by Allah.

Prophet Ibrahim decided to sacrifice his 11-year-old beloved son Prophet Ismail A.S for the sake of Allah, in his way Ibrahim was found by the devil(Shaitan) who disguised himself as an old man and tried to misguide Prophet Ibrahim thrice but Ibrahim had full faith on Allah. According to the will of Allah Subhana Ta’ala, and as an act of obedience he decided to sacrifice his son for the sake of Allah. As soon as he was about to sacrifice his son, Allah sent his Angel Jibreel and asked him to replace Prophet Ismail with a rump sheep and ordered the knife to not even touch Prophet Ismail.
