Is Islam a True Religion from God? Is there a Proof?

God is the one supreme being who created and governs the universe. The God is unique and incomparable, and there is nothing like Him.

The complexity, beauty and coherence in the universe point to the existence of a divine being who governs the Universe. The Laws of Nature are under the control of the Supreme Being.

Can Science prove God exists?

The scientific understanding of the origins and evolution of the universe is based on empirical evidence and theoretical models. Science seeks to explain the natural world through empirical observation and testing, while religion often deals with questions of meaning, purpose, and morality.

Science and religion operate in different domains, and they can coexist without necessarily conflicting with each other.

What is Islam?

Islam is a continuation of the message of the prophets who came before Muhammad, including Abraham, Moses, and Jesus. The central belief of Islam is the oneness of God, referred to as Allah in Arabic, who created the universe and everything in it. A Muslim is the one who submits to the will of God.

Islam is based on the Holy Quran, which is the literal word of God as revealed to the Prophet Muhammad. The Quran contains guidance and teachings for all aspects of life, including moral and ethical values, spiritual guidance, and laws for society.

Why Islam is the Truth?

Islam stands out among the world’s religions for its distinctive qualities.

It stands apart from others in that it does not depend on any myths or uncertainties but is rather grounded in established and recognized facts.

Muhammad, the Prophet of Islam, is a historically documented figure who lived his life in the public eye.

Evidence for Islam: The Holy Quran.

The divine message given to the Prophet SAWS was revealed over a span of twenty-two years and is now preserved in the Holy Quran.

According to the divine promise in the Quran itself, Allah has taken the responsibility to protect the message since it is the last revelation for Humanity:

According to the Divine promise set out in the Quran itself:

“Surely, We Ourself have sent down this Exhortation, and
We will, most surely, safeguard it.” (Surah al-Hijr, 15:10)

Numerical Miracles of Quran:

The “Numerical Miracle” of the Quran refers to the complex mathematical patterns and relationships in the Quran that are evidence of its divine origin.

The patterns are too complex and precise to be the result of human authorship, and therefore is a proof of the Quran’s miraculous nature. Here is a video that demonstrates it:

Historical Miracles

The Quran contains accurate accounts of the history of previous prophets and civilizations, and that its descriptions of events and people are in accordance with historical facts.

Prophecies of the Quran

Quran’s prophecies are evidence of its divine origin and a proof of its truth. The Quran contains many prophecies that have been fulfilled throughout history, some of which are:

The Victory of Rome:

The Quran predicted the victory of the Roman Empire over the Persians, which occurred in 628 CE.

The Quran states, “The Romans have been defeated in the nearest land. But they, after their defeat, will overcome. Within three to nine years. To Allah belongs the command before and after. And that day the believers will rejoice” (30:2-4).

This prophecy was fulfilled when the Romans defeated the Persians within the predicted time frame.

The Body of Pharaoh:

Dr Maurice Bucaille conducted a research on the cause of death of the Egyptian Pharaoh whose body was discovered in the 18th century. After a thorugh research on the Pharaoh’s body, Dr Maurice concluded that the remains of the salt stuck in his body were clear evidence that he died in the sea.

Dr Maurice was so shocked to learn that the Muslims’ Quran mentioned that he drowned the sea more than 1400 years ago and that his body remained intact even after he drowned.

Allah says in Surah Yunus [10: 90-92]
“Today we will preserve your (Pharaoh) body so you can be a sign for the people who come after you. But most of the people of our signs are headless”.

In conclusion, the Quran contains an excellent literature, scientific facts, numerical patterns and prophecies that have been fulfilled throughout history and predicts events that are yet to occur. These prophecies are a proof of the Quran’s divine origin and a testament to its truth.
